Unimacts started its industrial journey with castings, and it remains one of our most popular product categories. This rich experience means we don’t just deliver casting solutions, we also add value with post-casting processes like deburring, sandblasting, anodizing, powder coating, CNC machining, painting, etc. based on your specific requirements.

Each of these processes can also support the semi-permanent casting process. This casting process uses one or more sand cores to form internal passages within the production die-cast component.
We can provide die-cast components using hot chamber and cold chamber production die-casting machines. Machine tonnage is selected based on factors such as part size and cavitation. We offer a wide range of material selections, including aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, brass, copper, and magnesium.
Investment casting improves the quality of parts by using high-grade alloys for cast parts. A wax pattern is first used to form an expendable ceramic mold which is then filled with molten metal to produce the final product. This process allows for complex designs with intricate features and fills, such as through holes, slots, or complicated profiles.
This method can also be used to produce high dimensional accuracy – tolerances as low as 0.003 in (0.076 mm) can be as thin as 0.015 in (0.4 mm). This flexibility allows investment casting to be used in aerospace, medical devices, sports equipment, etc. We do both gravity-fed and vacuum casting.
Due to our experience and engineering expertise, we are great at technically complex castings.
Numerous castings for the water industry, wind, power transmission, etc. Wide variety of alloys including no lead bronze (e.g. C89520), phos bronze, and many others.
Unimacts has produced more than one million MT of gray iron castings ranging from 5kg precision gearbox housings to machined 14MT counterweights.
Unimacts has helped develop new applications for 304 and 316 stainless steel for customers, produced complex high nickel alloys for power generation castings, and produced corrosion-resistant castings, among other things.
Unimacts is ISO 9001/2015 certified and our UOS (Unimacts Operating System) is based on Lean Six Sigma. Our materials, welding and coating processes are typically based on ASTM, AWS, or EN specifications. These industry certifications help ensure that your solar projects are built to and uphold the highest quality and performance standards.
